Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how junes.ai ("Junes", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and our AI front-desk service. It also explains how we handle the calls and messages our AI answers on behalf of our business customers.

1. Information we collect

Account information: name, business name, email, phone number, and billing details you provide when you sign up. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider (Stripe) and are not stored on our servers.

Business content: information you provide or that we scan from your website during onboarding, such as services, hours, service area, pricing, and FAQ content, which we use to answer on your behalf.

Call and message data: when Junes answers a call or message for you, we process the audio and text of that conversation to respond, book appointments, and create a transcript, summary, and lead record. We measure call duration for billing.

Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, and analytics about how you use our website and dashboard.

2. How we use information

To provide, operate, and improve the service, including answering calls and messages, booking appointments, generating transcripts and summaries, and surfacing leads in your dashboard.

To process payments, meter usage, and manage your subscription.

To send transactional email such as verification, receipts, and service notifications.

To secure the service, prevent abuse and fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing and subprocessors

Junes uses third-party AI and infrastructure providers to deliver the service. Conversation audio and text may be processed by our voice and language model provider (xAI) solely to generate responses, transcripts, and summaries. We do not sell your data or the data of your callers.

Other subprocessors include our hosting and database provider (DigitalOcean), payment processor (Stripe), transactional email provider (Mailtrap), and connector platforms you choose to enable (such as Google Calendar via Composio, or CRMs via Zapier). Each processes data only as needed to perform its function.

4. Call recording and consent

Depending on your configuration, Junes may create transcripts of calls and, where enabled, store audio. Recording and monitoring of calls is subject to federal and state laws, some of which require the consent of one or all parties.

As the business using Junes, you are responsible for providing any legally required notice or obtaining any legally required consent from your callers. See our AI Disclosure and Call Consent notice for more detail.

5. Sharing of information

We share information with subprocessors as described above, with connectors you enable, when required by law or legal process, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information.

6. Data retention

We retain account and conversation data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for a reasonable period to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may request deletion as described below.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. If you are an end caller of one of our business customers, please direct requests to that business; we will assist them as a processor.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the website and dashboard (for example, keeping you signed in and remembering your cookie choice). With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it; the Google Analytics script only loads after you accept analytics cookies.

You can accept, reject, or change your cookie choice at any time using the banner shown on your first visit or the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

10. Children

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
